No. 176 /13ill No. 43 Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 43, reports as follows: Bill No. 43, transmitted by Council Member Brenda J. Ford, via Communication No. 176 dated March 6, 2013, amends Ordinance No. 12 -87, as amended, relating to public improvements and financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. The amendment is as follows: PARKS AND RECREATION Kahuku Park Improvements, Phase 5, Grading (110.599.5598.86) $ 100,000 Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from: General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund -Fund Balance and/or Other Sources $ 100,000 The proposed bill adds the Kahuku Park Improvements, Phase 5, Grading project for $100,000 to the Capital Budget. The funds will provide an additional area to the park for future use. Ms. Ford asked for the support of the Council Members and stated that this is the only park in Ocean View. Pursuant to Section 10 -6(d), Hawai`i County Charter, the Council may amend the Capital Budget for that year with a two- thirds vote.
