Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 48
reports as follows:
Bill No. 48, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H. Lee, via Communication No. 191
dated March 8, 2013, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 2, Section 24-264, Schedule 12
(Stop intersections), subsection (f), Kona, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as
amended) by deleting items (9) and (15), and revising item (14) to read, "Alii Drive, eastbound
approach to Mamalahoa Bypass Highway," and item (16) to read, "Haleki`i Street westbound
approach to Mamalahoa Bypass Highway."
The purpose of this measure is to amend the Hawai`i County Code in accordance with the
Mamalahoa Highway Bypass Road project.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Bill No. 48, and recommends its passage on first reading.
