No. 89-13 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 10:48 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Resolution <br /> No. 89-13 reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 89-13, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren Lee via Communication <br /> No. 205, dated February 14, 2013, grants a variance from Chapter 3, Section 3-58(c) of the <br /> Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), to allow one wall sign on 75-934 Henry <br /> Street, TMK Number (3) 7-5-004:31 (Zoned CG-20, Kailua Village Special Design District). <br /> The applicant, Starbucks Coffee Company is requesting a sign variance for a projecting sign. The <br /> proposed sign/symbol is 9 square feet in area and 36 inches in diameter mounted at 10 feet above <br /> finish grade.
