No. 190 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 9:04 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 190, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 190, from Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated March 5, 2013, transmits the <br /> nomination of Mr. Gregory C. Henkel to the Windward Planning Commission. <br /> Executive Assistant to Mayor Kenoi, Ms. Charmaine Shigemura, introduced Mr. Henkel. She <br /> stated that he is a 26-year resident of Hawai`i who is also a member of the Black Sands Beach <br /> Property Owners Association, the East Hawai`i Community Development Corporation, and the <br /> Puna Canoe Club. <br /> There was no discussion from Committee Members and all were in agreement that Mr. Henkel <br /> does not need to appear before the full Council for final confirmation. <br /> Your Committee on Planning is in accordance with the purpose and intent of Communication <br /> No. 190, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Mr. Gregory C.
