Agricultural Lands of Importance to the State of Hawaii (ALISH) System: The <br /> property is "Unclassified" on the State Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Lands <br /> of Importance to the State of Hawaii (ALISH) Map. <br /> 14. Land Study Bureau's Detailed Land Classification System: Soils within the subject <br /> property are classified as "E" (Very Poor). <br /> 15. U.S. Soil Survey: The soils aze classified as Puu Pa extremely stony very fine sandy <br /> loam (PVD), 6 to 2086 slopes. This surface layer is very dazk brown extremely stony <br /> very fine sandy loam about 6 inches thick. The next layer is dazk-brown and dazk, <br /> yellowish-brown very fine sandy loam about 34 inches thick. It is underlain by <br /> fragmental Aa lava. The reaction is medium acid to slightly acid in the surface layer <br /> and neutral in the substratum. Permeability is moderately rapid, runoff is medium, and <br /> the erosion hazazd is moderate. These soils are used for pasture. <br /> 16. FIRM: The subject property is located within Zone X, azea determined to be outside <br /> the 500-yeaz flood plain. <br /> 17. F(ora/Fauna Resources: According to the applicants' environmental report, the <br /> natural vegetation occurring on the property consists of Ilima and Panini. No native <br /> fauna was observed on the site. Common animal species in the area include field mice <br /> and mongoose. There aze no (mown or recorded rare or endangered animal or plant <br /> life in the area. <br /> 18. Archaeological Resources: According to the applicants' environmental report, no <br /> historic or azchaeological sites were present on the pazcel. The property has been <br /> previously grazed by cattle. Therefore, the proposed action will not have any effect on <br /> significant historic sites. Nevertheless, a condition will be included to require the <br /> notification of the Department of Land Natural Resources-Historic Preservation <br /> Division should any azchaeological sites be encountered during the course of <br /> development. <br /> PUBLIC U't'Ii.ITIES AND SERVICEt <br /> 19.
