This certificate is furnished in compliance with Chapter 19, Article 11, Section 19-90(d) of the Hawaii County Code, as amended. The total value of net taxable real property is $23,542,277,844. This amount is $14,708,938 higher than the previous year. It represents a 0.06 percent increase compared to the previous tax year. The estimated gross value of new residential construction is $213,372,800 and commercial construction is $24,479,900. A total of 233 appeals were filed, as compared to 543 in the previous year. The amount in dispute is $93,505,313 compared to $234,500,388 in the previous year. Enclosed please find details of the assessed valuations by zones, classes of property, exemptions and appeals.
