Amends Schedule 41, Use of certain streets by certain vehicles restricted, subsection (f), under paragraph (1), by deleting items (D) and (E) concerning vehicles having a gross vehicle weight rating of three or more tons; and under paragraph (3), by deleting items (A), (B), and (C) concerning bicycles, mopeds, and motor scooters. Reference: Comm. 247 Intr. by: Ms. Poindexter Approve: FC-62 Bill 72: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 12-86, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2013, RELATING TO THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO THE PUBLIC ACCESS, OPEN SPACE AND NATURAL RESOURCES PRESERVATION FUND Increases revenues in Real Property Tax Interest ($290,000); and appropriates same to Transfer to Public Access/Open Space Preservation (PONC) Fund. Real property tax interest revenues are expected to exceed the amount budgeted for FY 2012-13, requiring additional funds be transferred into the PONC account in order to be in compliance with Section 10-15 of the County Charter. Funds will be used by the Office of Housing and Community Development’s Program Year WIA program to assist adults, dislocated workers, and youth by providing services that will train individuals to increase employment, retention, earnings, skills, and literacy.
