+SV^of N�' <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII '1'‘ '` '�" STATE OF HAWAII <br /> r,T•Of Mf'�,- <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 128 13 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br /> YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE OF <br /> REAL PROPERTY <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or <br /> other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of <br /> more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the West Hawai`i Office of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney <br /> presently leases property in Kealakekua for office use; and <br /> WHEREAS, by extending the lease for an additional three (3) years, the rent is to be set <br /> at $13,798.36 per month for the first year, $14,136.50 for the second year and $14, 484.78 for the <br /> third year, amortized improvements included, for premises located at Kealakekua Business <br /> Plaza, 81-980 Haleki`i Street, Suite #150, Kealakekua, Hawai`i, starting on July 1, 2013; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a three (3) year lease agreement for the West Hawai`i <br /> Office of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney located at Kealakekua Business Plaza, 81-980 <br /> Haleki`i Street, Suite #150, Kealakekua, Hawai`i. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAII that sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated <br /> obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
