Ms. Leithead-Todd served as the County of Hawai'i Director of Environmental Management from May 2007 to December 2008. During this period she worked effectively within the Department of Environmental Management leadership and the administration in overseeing that department's operations island-wide. Most recently, Ms. Leithead-Todd served as the County of Hawai'i Planning Director from March 2009 to May 2013. Pursuant to Rule 5(6) (g) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of Hawai'i, we respectfully request a waiver of this nomination through committee so that it may be considered by the full County Council on July 10, 2013.
