J�tY OF\yM� ��•'•i. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ••,t�•OF•MI•I, .- <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 151 13 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE <br /> MONETARY CONTRIBUTION FROM NA LEO `O HAWAII, INC. <br /> FOR PRODUCTION COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE <br /> VIDEOTAPING OF COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> WHEREAS, Na Leo `O Hawaii is contributing $35,000 for production costs <br /> associated with the videotaping of Council meetings; and <br /> WHEREAS, their contribution will ensure continued broadcasts of County <br /> Council meetings on Na Leo, which is very important for an informed citizenry; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of <br /> personal property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the County Clerk recommends the acceptance of <br /> this contribution; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the <br /> Council of the County of Hawai`i accepts this contribution. <br />
