STATE OF HAWAI I <br /> ,TE OF.MA,i,► <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 146 13 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A TABLET <br /> PC TO THE OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY <br /> WHEREAS, Dell is donating one (1) Latitude 10 tablet computer, with an <br /> estimated value of$1,223 to the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; and <br /> WHEREAS, this tablet computer is being donated as part of Dell's program <br /> to provide equipment to businesses for evaluation; and <br /> WHEREAS, this equipment is to be used at the Office of the Prosecuting <br /> Attorney's Hilo office by deputy prosecutors; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of <br /> money, securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real <br /> estate, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County Code <br /> states that any gifts or donations of money, securities, or personal property which <br /> fall within the capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be <br /> accepted by resolution approved by the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney recommends the <br /> acceptance of this donation; now, therefore, <br />
