Whether she is volunteering with the Hilo Lions Club,Hui Okinawa, UPW Retirees, FCE club, <br /> Halai Kumiai, Niigata Kenjin-kai, Yamaguchi Kenjin-kai, or any of the other numerous clubs and <br /> organizations she belongs to, Shirley, either as captain of the team, or as a team member, unselfishly gives <br /> 110% to her assignment. Her efforts come from the heart, she asks for nothing in return and shares her <br /> aloha time and time again. <br /> Shirley can be seen at almost every community event that takes place in the County. Whether she is giving leis, <br /> handcrafted from flowers from her backyard, or taking photographs with her trusty camera, Shirley has a smile <br /> and a kind word for everyone.
