SCHEDULE B-1 Exhibit III <br /> Grant No: <br /> BUDGET NARRATIVE PAGE #1 of 1 <br /> Personnel Costs <br /> Hawai'i Police Department will conduct 130 checkpoints throughout the grant period. These activities will be <br /> conducted on an overtime basis. The checkpoints will be staffed by supervisors (Lieutenant and/or <br /> Sergeant) and officers. Cost are estimated based on an average overtime hourly rate of $55.00 per hour for <br /> supervisors and $50.00 per hour for officers. Average hourly rates are used because exact overtime rates vary <br /> within the department depending on rank and years of service. Which personnel will be staffing which <br /> lis undetermined at the outset of the grant period.
