BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The County of Hawaii owns lands in the District of Hamakua, County and State of Hawaii including those <br /> identified by tax map key (3) 4-3-009-055, 4-3-009-056, 4-3-009-057, 4-3-009-058. Resolution 38-11 <br /> authorized the lease of certain County of Hawaii owned lands, which includes these parcels, and required <br /> that the negotiated lease agreement for those lands be accepted by the County Council pursuant to Section <br /> 2-114(d) of the Hawaii County Code. <br /> Attached is the negotiated agreement between Hakalau Cacao Company LLC and the County of Hawaii to <br /> submit to the County Council pursuant to Resolution 38-11 so that it may be accepted in accordance with <br /> Section 2-114(d) of the Hawaii County Code. <br /> SIGNED: /01/t%, j1, 1- DATE: AUG 1 3 2013 <br /> Department ead <br />
