Kenoi, dated August 26, 2013, <br /> nominates Mr. James H. Traxler to the Hawai`i County Veterans Advisory Committee. <br /> Executive Assistant to the Mayor Charmaine Shigemura read in, for the record, Mr. Traxler's <br /> credentials. He is a seven-year resident of Hawai`i and a former chair and a current member of <br /> the Big Island Retired Military Association. If confirmed, Mr. Traxler will serve a term to expire <br /> on December 31, 2017. <br /> Mr. Traxler was not present at this meeting. <br /> Committee Chair Dru Kanuha requested that Mr. Traxler make a personal appearance when his <br /> nomination comes before the Council. <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose <br /> and intent of Communication 406, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of <br /> Mr. James H.
