Annual passes shall <br /> be valid through the last calendar day of the twelfth month with no grace period. <br /> (9) [Both the] The Ten Ride Discount Sheet, [ ] the monthly pass, any pilot program <br /> pass, and the annual pass must be purchased directly from the mass transit agency or <br /> its designated representative. <br /> (10) There is established a pilot program for a bus pass valid for unlimited rides on all <br /> routes from January 1, 2014, to June 30, 2014, with no grace period, to be offered at <br /> the following rates: <br /> (A) Senior citizens age sixty and older after providing proof of age from a valid state <br /> ID card, County of Hawai`i senior ID card, driver's license, birth certificate or <br /> passport; persons with a valid "Person with Disability Identification Card" issued <br /> by the County of Hawai`i; and students (through college) after providing a valid <br /> school identification card may purchase the bus pass at a cost of$175; and <br /> (B) All others may purchase the bus pass at a cost of$250. <br /> This paragraph shall be repealed on June 30, 2014." <br /> SECTION 2. I f any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br /> or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to <br /> this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> SECTION 4.
