WHEREAS, the Hawai`i County Council feels that it is more effective to submit one <br /> priority list as a unified Council rather than nine separate lists from each district; and <br /> WHEREAS, this priority list, as shown in detail in Exhibit A, will be sent to our <br /> Legislators for the 2014 Legislative Session; and <br /> WHEREAS, each Council Member is responsible for providing documentation (e.g., <br /> plans and designs, maps, costs, etc.) of their district project upon request by our State <br /> Legislators; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it <br /> respectfully requests the Hawai`i State Legislature and the Governor to support and provide <br /> funding for the highest priority capital improvement projects listed above. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this <br /> resolution to the Honorable Governor Neil Abercrombie, the Honorable Senate President Donna <br /> Mercado Kim, the Honorable Senate Vice President Ronald D. Kouchi, the Honorable House <br /> Speaker Joseph M. Souki, the Honorable Speaker Emeritus Calvin K.Y. Say, the Honorable <br /> Vice Speaker John M. Mizuno, the Honorable Senate Ways and Means Committee Chair David <br /> Y. Ige, the Honorable House Finance Committee Chair Sylvia Luke, all State Senators and <br /> Representatives for the County of Hawai`i,the Honorable Mayor William P.
