The amendment is <br /> as follows: <br /> From: <br /> 010.3309.03 Federal Grants—Assistance to Firefighters <br /> Grant 2012 —Ops & Safety General $ 46,984 <br /> To: <br /> 010.221.5228.23 Assistance to Firefighters Grant 2012 — <br /> Ops & Safety General $ 46,984 <br /> The funds will be used to support the Hawai`i Fire Department's (HFD) program to provide an instructor <br /> to train selected HFD instructor personnel on the topic of escaping an entanglement situation, and to <br /> purchase equipment to support such training. <br /> Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawai`i Revised Statutes, County departments must obtain the consent of the <br /> Council to enter into agreements with the Federal or State governments respecting action to be taken <br /> pursuant to any powers granted by law to furnish, expend, and receive any funds or other assistance in <br /> connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers. <br /> FC Report No. 100 <br />
