• <br /> • N <br /> JM os ---. 0 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -•� �'; '%�• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ,t[is;.N►rl <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 21? 13 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) FOR THE PURCHASE OF CITRIC ACID FOR <br /> THE WAIMEA AND HONOKA`A DISTRICTS. <br /> WHEREAS, the Waimea and Honoka`a communities have experienced an infestation of <br /> coqui frogs and are challenged with the noise and nuisance that theses frogs are causing; and <br /> WHEREAS, the coqui frogs negatively affect Hawai`i Island's economy, environment <br /> and quality of life; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development will collaborate with the <br /> Hawai`i County Economic Opportunity Council to use funds to provide citric acid at a <br /> reasonable cost; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Research and Development to purchase citric acid for the Waimea and <br /> Honoka`a districts; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,500 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,500 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.161.5161.22 Research and Development $2,500 <br /> Agriculture R&D OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
