mjs:f N�; <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII 1' ' _ �''�Ifr STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ,TF.OF NF's <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 230 13 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br /> YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR <br /> FIVE (5) COPY MACHINES FOR THE HAWAII COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other <br /> obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one <br /> fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for five (5) <br /> years, for five (5) copy machines for the Hawaii County Police Department to be used in the Police <br /> Commission Office, Hilo Criminal Investigation Division (CID), South Hilo squad-room, South Hilo <br /> detention facility and in the South Hilo training room; and <br /> WHEREAS, the leases for the copiers to be replaced have expired and they are in constant <br /> need for repair; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease agreement for <br /> five (5) copy machines for the Hawaii County Police Department. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated <br /> obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these copy machines shall be leased for a period of five <br /> (5) years, each at a cost of approximately $216 per month and $0.0098 per copy. <br />
