This project will improve public safety and hopefully <br /> prevent serious accidents. During flood events, both sides of Saint John's Road get eroded and <br /> undermine the roadbed which has since been repaired. <br /> As per Article X, Section 10-6 of the Hawaii County Charter, your recommendations to the <br /> proposed amendment will be greatly appreciated. <br /> This measure is scheduled to be heard at the Hilo Council Chambers on December 18, 2013. <br /> Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience should you have any questions. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Brenda J.
