:..,-- „\�,,Gl om.�% <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII _��' /_• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> '....*;;J:-1,mss::..�. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 241 13 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR MISCELLANEOUS BABY FURNITURE AND <br /> BEDDING FOR THE CHILD & FAMILY SERVICE—WEST HAWAII DOMESTIC <br /> ABUSE SHELTER. <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is charged with the duty of ensuring <br /> that the laws are faithfully executed and enforced within the County of Hawai`i; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney continues its efforts to attend to the <br /> needs of victims and witnesses and to promote public safety; and <br /> WHEREAS, one of the program objectives of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is <br /> to reduce domestic violence and provide intervention initiatives; and <br /> WHEREAS, the months from December through Febuary is when the Child & Family <br /> Service— West Hawai`i Domestic Abuse Shelter cares for the influx of women and children; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Child& Family Service—West Hawai`i Domestic Abuse Shelter is in <br /> need of the following items: <br /> • 1 crib with wheels <br /> • 1 crib mattress <br /> • 1 crib mattress waterproof cover <br /> • 2 crib sheets <br /> • 2 crib thermal blankets <br /> • 1 rocking bassinet with wheels <br /> • 2 bassinett pads <br /> • 2 sets of basssinet sheets; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to <br /> the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for the purchase of miscellaneous baby furniture and <br /> bedding for the Child & Family Service—West Hawai`i Domestic Abuse Shelter; now, <br /> therefore, <br />
