J+tY OS M,. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII ' ' '���°'°�� STATE OF HAWAII <br /> *Y.-6--7 -',:..**;'... --": <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 25 i3 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br /> YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR <br /> ONE (1) MULTIFUNCTION COPIER FOR THE HAWAII FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other <br /> obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one <br /> fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for five (5) <br /> years, for one (1) multifunction copier for the Hawaii Fire Department to be used in the Fire <br /> administration office; and <br /> WHEREAS, the lease for the copier to be replaced recently expired and this copy machine is in <br /> constant need of repair; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease agreement for <br /> one (1) multifunction copier, for the Hawai'i Fire Department. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds will be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated <br /> obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this copy machine shall be leased for a period of five (5) <br /> years, at a cost of approximately $3,500 per year. <br />
