.r.Jto•-•-.. 4 • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •:e±`=' ,.j STATE OF HAWAII <br /> O <br /> TE f'N►' <br /> BILL NO. 165 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 7 OF THE HAWAII <br /> COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING METER <br /> ZONES. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to update the Hawai`i County Code so the <br /> meter rates in the code match the rates posted on the parking meters. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 7, section 24-291.1, schedule 39.1. Parking <br /> Meter Zones, 2 hour parking meter zones, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as <br /> amended), is amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 24-291.1.* Schedule 39.1.* 2 hour parking meter zones. <br /> Two hour parking meter zones are established upon those streets or portions of streets <br /> described in this schedule upon which the parking of vehicles shall be regulated by parking meters <br /> at the [rate of twenty cents per hour or a flat rate for up to two hours pursuant to section 21 216.01:] <br /> rates of five cents for fifteen minutes; ten cents for thirty minutes; and twenty-five cents for <br /> seventy-five minutes: <br /> (a) Hamakua <br /> (b) North Hilo <br /> (c) South Hilo <br /> (1) The County Building parking lot at the corner of Aupuni Street and Pauahi Street, during <br /> the regular working hours of the County. <br /> (d) Ka`u <br /> (e) Kohala <br /> (f) Kona <br /> (g) Puna" <br />
