JNZY,OS M1/y <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -,4��' '!i• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> .. .k r;°: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 257 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND <br /> FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR MANHOLE COVER ADJUSTMENTS. <br /> WHEREAS, there exists on Kilauea Avenue in the District of South Hilo numerous manhole <br /> covers that are sunken below the current surface of the roadway; and <br /> WHEREAS, manhole covers that are not raised cause vehicle wear, decrease vehicle lifespan <br /> and result in an uncomfortable commute; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works, Highway Maintenance Division, will schedule <br /> the adjustment of these manhole covers on Sundays to reduce the inconvenience to the public; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the <br /> Department of Public Works, Highway Maintenance Division, for labor, equipment and materials for <br /> the adjustment of manhole covers; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $4,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $4,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.801.5801.38 Department of Public Works $4,000 <br /> Trans to Highway Fund <br /> (Manhole cover adjustments) <br />
