These funds will be used to address maintenance issues (raise sunken manhole covers) in <br /> South Hilo. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $4,000 <br /> to the Department of Public Works, Highway Maintenance Division's S. Hilo Road Materials <br /> account within the Highway Fund. <br /> The Department of Public Works requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee <br /> and be placed on the January 8, 2014 Council Agenda in order to accompany the concurrent <br /> resolution.
