Hooser recently resigned as a Director, whereby creating <br /> a vacancy on the NACo Board of Directors. The NACo Bylaws state that a vacant <br /> position may be filled for the remainder of unexpired term. <br /> It is important that this position be filled soon. Section 5A of the HSAC Bylaws <br /> requires that all four Councils approve of an appointment to the Board of Directors. <br /> May I please request that your Council, at its next available meeting, consider <br /> approving Councilmember and HSAC President Mel Rapozo to fill the vacant position <br /> for the remainder of the term. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> P <br /> MICHAEL P.
