The grant funds will <br /> be used to increase the number of officers trained in traffic crash reconstruction and other traffic <br /> crash related courses, to purchase crash data retrieval cables and software and to purchase data <br /> collector and printer station units. In the current fiscal year's budget, $30,000 is appropriated for <br /> this grant. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of <br /> Hawai`i Department of Transportation for this grant.
