He is employed <br /> by the Department of Education as a teacher. Mr. Mitchell is a member of his school's <br /> Association Policy Committee and the Community Council. He is a member of the <br /> Department of Education's Hui Laulima-Ula, and serves as the treasurer of the Kona <br /> Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Mitchell states that he is not affiliated with any political <br /> party. If confirmed he will serve a term to end eleven months after confirmation. <br /> Council District 9 — Linda M. Kelly is a 21-year resident of Hawai'i. She is presently <br /> employed by Mauna Lani Realty as a Real Estate Broker. Ms. Kelly is a member of the <br /> Kona Christian Church, past president of the Fairways at Mauna Lani Homeowner's <br /> Association, and she is associated with Arise Hawaii Women's Conference. She states <br /> that she is not affiliated with any political party.
