Poindexter, via Communication No. 618 <br /> dated January 16, 2014, amends Ordinance No. 13-66, as amended, relating to public improvements <br /> and financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. The amendment is as <br /> follows: <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> Honoka`a Elementary School Parking Lot and Student <br /> Drop-Off/Pick-Up Facility - County $2,000,000 <br /> (110.388.5383.01) <br /> Honoka`a Elementary School Parking Lot and Student <br /> Drop-Off/Pick-Up Facility - State $2,000,000 <br /> (110.388.5383.02) <br /> Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from: <br /> State CIP $2,000,000 <br /> General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance <br /> and/or other Sources $2,000,000 <br /> The funds would be used for project management, engineering, infrastructure improvements, <br /> planning and design, and construction of the Honoka`a Elementary School parking lot and student <br /> drop-off/pick-up facility. <br /> Chair Poindexter relinquished the chair to Vice-Chair Ilagan to speak in support of Bill No. 186. <br /> She informed her colleagues that the primary discussion on this project took place earlier that day, <br /> at the Government Relations Committee during the reading of Resolution No. 277. <br /> Pursuant to Section 10-6(d), Hawai`i County Charter, the Council may amend the Capital Budget <br /> for that year with a two-thirds vote. <br /> FC Report No. 129 <br />
