Ignacio, of Council District 1 to the County of Hawaii Fire Commission. Ms. Ignacio is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. From 1986 to 2013, Ms. Ignacio was employed by the Roman Catholic Church as the Office of Social Ministry's Executive Director. She is presently retired. Ms. Ignacio formerly served on the County of Hawaii Police Commission. She is a board member of Hope Services Hawaii, and the Hawaii Catholic Conference. Ms. Ignacio states that she is a Democrat. If confirmed, she will serve the remainder of a term that will expire on December 31, 2015, replacing Laurie Bass who resigned for personal reasons.
