P-3828 <br /> SITUATED AT WAIAKEA, DISTRICT OF SOUTH HILO, COUNTY AND STATE OF <br /> HAWAII, BEING TAX MAP KEY: (3) 2-2-036:132 (POR.), FROM VIOLET K. <br /> CAMARA <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. <br /> WHEREAS, Violet K. Camara(hereinafter referred to as "Camara") is the owner of a <br /> right of way parcel needed for the Manono Street Improvements, Job No. P-3828 situated at <br /> Waiakea, District of South Hilo, County and State of Hawai`i, identified as Tax Map <br /> Key: (3) 2-2-036:132 (por.), consisting of approximately plus or minus 500 square feet <br /> delineated on Exhibit "1" attached hereto and hereinafter referred to as "Parcel 6", and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawai`i is proceeding with the widening of Manono Street <br /> between Lanikaula and Kekuanao`a Streets. In order to complete the project, the County of <br /> Hawai`i needs to acquire this 500 square feet right of way; and <br /> WHEREAS, Camara wishes to donate Parcel 6 to the County of Hawai`i to improve <br /> bicycle and pedestrian accessibility and vehicular circulation, as well as the drainage conditions <br /> in the area; and <br /> WHEREAS, such donation has been approved by the Planning Department, Department <br /> of Public Works, Department of Water Supply, Department of Environmental Management, and <br /> the Real Property Tax Division; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter provides that the <br /> Council, on behalf of the County of Hawai`i, may accept gifts or donations of real property; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter, the County of <br />
