• <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ,p,OF•N'i <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 325 1 4 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, <br /> HIGHWAYS DIVISION, TO REPAIR CERTAIN UNPAVED ROADS IN PUNA. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works (DPW), Highways Division, is tasked with <br /> maintaining county roadways across 4,028 miles of Hawai`i County; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Highways Division assists with certain unpaved Roads-In-Limbo (RIL), <br /> which do not have regular maintenance schedules; and <br /> WHEREAS, in the Hawai`i County, there are 408.9 miles of RIL and 122.6 miles of <br /> existing roads recognized as government or unpaved homestead roads; and <br /> WHEREAS, unpaved roads in lower Puna such as Wa`a Wa'a and Government Beach <br /> Road are in need of restoration; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to <br /> DPW, Highways Division, to purchase 20 tons of aggregate material to repair unpaved roads in <br /> the Puna District; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $5,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $5,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.801.5801.38 Department of Public Works, Highways Division $5,000 <br /> Trans to Highway Fund <br /> 341 Transfer to Highway Fund <br /> (Bulk Purchase Aggregate Material) <br />
