COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> 44 OF.M►..1 _. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 32 1 4 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A "STEALTH STAT <br /> SELF-RADAR" FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the enforcement of speed limits is critical to maintaining the safety of roads <br /> within Hawai`i County; and <br /> WHEREAS, undetected vehicular speeding threatens the safety of residents; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department utilizes various tools to help identify vehicular speed <br /> limit violations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the "Stealth Stat Self-Radar" has proven to be an effective device to the <br /> Police Department in its efforts to enforce speed limits; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to <br /> the Police Department for the purchase of a"Stealth Stat Self-Radar"; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $3,226.25 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $3,226.25 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.201.5203.20 Police Department $3,226.25 <br /> Police Adm Div-Equip <br /> 480 Misc.
