.•JM�vosp, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII '('‘_ j STATE OF HAWAII <br /> . •�Tt Oi <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 344 14 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN <br /> INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII, HAWAII <br /> PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT FOR A <br /> MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT FOR THE USE OF THE PAHALA SENIOR CENTER <br /> LOCATED AT 96-1169 HOLEI STREET, PAHALA, KA`U, HAWAII 96777, TAX MAP <br /> KEY NO. 9-6-17:37. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Hawai`i, Hawai`i Public Housing Authority is the owner of the <br /> Pahala Senior Center, 96-1169 Holei Street, Pahala, Ka`u, Hawai`i 96777, Tax Map Key No. 9- <br /> 6-17:37; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawai`i, Department of Parks and Recreation desires to enter <br /> into an agreement for a multi-year period to use this facility for various activities for the <br /> neighborhood community such as: congregate dining, information and assistance, classes and <br /> workshops, and meetings and assessments; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Hawai`i Revised Statutes Section 46-7 this Council's consent is <br /> required to enter into this intergovernmental agreement for use of this State facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the Hawai`i County Charter requires that any contract, <br /> lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year <br /> or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the <br /> Mayor, pursuant to Hawai`i Revised Statutes Section 46-7 and Section 10-11 of the Hawai`i <br /> County Charter, is hereby authorized to enter into the multi-year Facility Lease Agreement <br />
