COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 345 14 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN <br /> INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII, HAWAII <br /> PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT FOR A <br /> MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT FOR THE USE OF THE KEA'AU NUTRITION CENTER— <br /> HALE ALOHA 0 PUNA LOCATED AT 16-189 PILI MUA STREET, KEA'AU, <br /> HAWAII 96749, TAX MAP KEY NO. 1-6-143:35. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Hawai`i, Hawai`i Public Housing Authority is the owner of the <br /> Kea`au Nutrition Center—Hale Aloha 0 Puna, 16-189 Pili Mua Street, Kea`au, Hawai`i 96749, <br /> Tax Map Key No. 1-6-143:35; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawai`i, Department of Parks and Recreation desires to enter <br /> into an agreement for a multi-year period to use this facility for various activities for the <br /> neighborhood community such as: congregate dining, information and assistance, classes and <br /> workshops, and meetings and assessments; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Hawai`i Revised Statutes Section 46-7 this Council's consent is <br /> required to enter into this intergovernmental agreement for use of this State facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the Hawai`i County Charter requires that any contract, <br /> lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year <br /> or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the <br /> Mayor, pursuant to Hawai`i Revised Statutes Section 46-7 and Section 10-11 of the Hawai`i <br /> County Charter, is hereby authorized to enter into the multi-year Facility Lease Agreement <br />
