REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON PLANNING <br /> REGARDING: Communication No. 729 <br /> DATE: March 18, 2014 <br /> LOCATION: Council Chambers, Kona, Hawaii <br /> TITLE: Nomination of Jay Uyeda to the Water Board <br /> EXPLANATION: From Mayor William P. Kenoi, submitting for the Council's <br /> review and confirmation, Mr. Uyeda's nomination. <br /> Mr. Uyeda is a 42-year resident of Hawai`i, presently employed as <br /> the Director of Development at the Hualalai Resort. Also serving <br /> as a member of the Hawaii Planning Conference and the Hawaii <br /> Society of Professional Engineers, he states he is a Democrat.
