The original appropriation ordinance for Program Year(PR) 2013 <br /> for CDBG funds was for$2,500,000,but$2,627,655 of funds were provided, requiring this <br /> increase in order to accept and utilize all of the funds awarded. The additional monies will be <br /> utilized to provide accessibility improvements to a County facility, and to construct a certified <br /> kitchen for the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island. <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development emphasizes that no General Funds are <br /> involved in these transactions.
