REAL PROPERTY TAX STAKEHOLDERS TASK FORCE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> February 6, 2014 <br /> Office of Council Member Margaret Wille <br /> Kamuela, Hawaii <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Co-Chairperson Dennis "Fresh" Onishi called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Margaret Wille, County Council, Member <br /> Dennis "Fresh" Onishi, County Council, Member <br /> Robert Price, Member <br /> Stew Hussey, Member <br /> Al Inoue, Member <br /> Also Present: Elizabeth `Nina' Swain, Secretary/Recorder <br /> STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br /> There were no statements from the public made. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Mr. Price moved to defer the minutes of January 23 to the next meeting scheduled for <br /> March 20th. Motion seconded by Mr. Hussey. A call for discussion was made. Motion <br /> passed by a vote of 5:0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> • Open Discussion on establishing the goals and timetable for the task force <br /> Mr. Onishi: So, just to give some background to it, it was for the committee to start <br /> deciding on what do we want to see in the coming months and how do we <br /> want to progress with our discussions and, do we want to like set <br /> categories like Ag, when do we want to see this finished by, and then <br /> Residential and all these different categories. It would be good if we can <br /> establish that today. That way to the Administration, the Finance <br /> Department, would know okay this is what is going to be coming forward <br /> Mr. Price: I got these two pieces of communication from Valerie Poindexter. They're <br /> not going to be addressed today then? <br /> Mr. Onishi: Where did you get that from? <br /> Mr. Price: I got this from Erin. <br />
