�JMtY OF M1�1 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> �Tt OF•MF'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. � 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT <br /> FOR THE PARKS IN WAIKOLOA, KAWAIHAE,AND KOHALA. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation maintains the parks in Waikoloa, <br /> Kawaihae, and Kohala to provide the public with safe enjoyable facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the parks in Waikoloa, Kawaihae, and Kohala have limited resources <br /> available to match the escalating use by the public; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Park Caretakers in Waikoloa, Kawaihae, and Kohala are sharing <br /> equipment, supplies, and resources to maintain the parks; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for the <br /> purchase of additional hedgers, chain saws, and edgers; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Parks and Recreation for the purchase of maintenance equipment; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $3,700 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $3,700 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5505.11 Department of Parks and Recreation $3,700 <br /> Parks Maint Equip <br /> 480 Misc.
