COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 409 14 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO KAILUA VILLAGE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, INC., FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONSTRUCTION/ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS FOR THE ALI`I DRIVE LIGHTING PROJECT. WHEREAS, the Kailua Village Business Improvement District, Inc. (KVBID), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to create a model sutainable community that is a better place to invest, work, live, and play; and WHEREAS, KVBID is in need of funding to develop a pedestrian-scale lighting plan with a thematic heritage design that improves the overall illumination within public spaces and celebrates historic and cultural landmarks in the Historic Kailua Village; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2) of the Hawaii County Code, Contingency relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, or event for which the grant shall be used; and WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of Public Works to provide a grant to KVBID for the development of construction/engineering documents for the Ali`i Drive lighting project; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: FUND: GENERAL AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $30,000 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101 91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $30,000 CREDITED TO: 010.801.5801.38 Transfer to Highway Fund $30,000 (Signals & St Lights, Misc. Contract Ser 020.281.5281.32 —Ali`i Drive Lighting Project)
