,MTVECi M,�1 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> frEOF N',,► <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 393 14 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br /> YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE <br /> OF REAL PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease <br /> or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal <br /> year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Public works presently leases property at 81-6394 <br /> Mamalahoa Highway, Kona, Hawaii, Tax Map Key: (3) 8-1-016:039 (por.) and the use <br /> of a forty (40) foot storage container located on the site for the purpose of parking <br /> vehicles, and for storage of equipment and supplies; and <br /> WHEREAS, by extending the lease for an additional four (4) years, the rent is to be <br /> set at $600 per month, starting on August 1, 2014 and ending on July 31, 2018, with the <br /> option to rent thereafter on a month to month basis; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a four (4) year lease <br /> agreement for property located at 81-6394 Mamalahoa Highway, Kona, <br /> Hawaii, Tax Map Key: (3) 8-1-016:039 (por.) and the use of a forty (40) <br /> foot storage container located on the site. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br /> anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
