O <br /> .. . <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •' STATE OF HAWAII <br /> qTE Cf•N�,•I <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 39S <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF <br /> TWO EMERGENCY CALL BOXES IN KEHENA. <br /> WHEREAS, the Kehena area, especially along Kalapana-Kapoho Road and Kehena <br /> Beach, contains numerous "dead spots" or is entirely inaccessible on the wireless phone network; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, recent incidents requiring emergency personnel indicates a serious need for <br /> emergency call boxes to service this area; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3.4.3, Public Safety Actions, of the Puna Community <br /> Development Plan, it recommends providing more emergency call boxes in Puna; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to <br /> the Civil Defense Agency for the purchase and installation of two emergency call boxes in <br /> Kehena; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $25,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $25,000 <br />
