The Capital Budget includes 52 projects requiring a total appropriation of <br /> $116.32 million. <br /> Funding Sources <br /> Capital projects are typically funded by debt (bonds, State Revolving Fund loans), revenue <br /> sources (fuel tax, other special revenues), state grants, federal grants or loans, and other <br /> financing options (fair share contributions or special financing districts). The Capital Budget <br /> presented herein includes capital projects of which about $96.465 million are intended to be <br /> funded in whole or part by bonds, $15.215 million to be funded by the State Revolving Loan <br /> Fund, $3.36 million to be funded from Federal Grants Receivable, and $1.28 million to be <br /> funded by fair share contributions (see Table 1). <br /> Summary of Amendments <br /> The Capital Budget presented herein reflects the following amendments to the budget <br /> presented on February 28, 2014: <br /> • Increase of$1.0 million for "Repair/Replacement of Wastewater Facilities" <br /> • Addition of"Kealakehe Wastewater Treatment Plant Aeration Upgrade and Sludge <br /> Removal:" $6.0 million <br /> • Addition of"Mauna Kea Park:" $1.5 million <br /> � �� 11 aaq a 6q <br /> County of awai'i is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br /> Comm.No 0' Iq <br /> Ref.To: C o u nei I <br /> 3 Ref.
