COUNTY OF HAWAII :e= STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 206 ORDINANCE NO. 4 SO AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-281 OF THE HAWAI`1 COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. The purpose of these measures is being proposed in an effort to increase parking in this heavily used recreational area of Hilo. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-281, Schedule 29. Parking prohibited during certain hours on certain streets; tow-away zone, subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended by revising existing items as follows: (2) Banyan Drive, [ems] south (golf course) side, [beginning at a point nine hundred -- . - . : from the southern intersection of Lihiwai Street and extending [five hundred seventy one] one hundred forty-one feet [in the northeasterly direction] southwest of the northern intersection of Lihiwai Street,between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (3) Banyan Drive, northeast [makai] (makai) side, from a point nine hundred seventy-two feet northwest of Banyan Way and extending two hundred twenty feet northeast of the northern intersection of Lihiwai Street, except for the designated no parking anytime areas, loading zone, and bus stop,between the hours of 9:00 a.m. [te] and 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays. (4) Banyan Drive, southeast [mauka] (golf course) side, from a point one hundred forty-one feet southwest of the northern intersection of Lihiwai Street and extending four hundred thirteen feet north on Banyan Way, except for the designated no parking anytime areas and bus stop, between the hours of 9:00 a.m [te] and 11:00 a.m. on Thursdays.
