J'%v OF if <br /> ��liya <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII `• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ''•'o.'M.i <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 442 14 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER <br /> FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI- <br /> YEAR AGREEMENT FOR HOSTED VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL <br /> (VOIP) PHONE SERVICE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease <br /> or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year <br /> or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the phone system currently in use by the Recreation division of the <br /> Department of Parks and Recreation, located at 799 Pi`ilani Street, Hilo, Hawaii, is <br /> irreparable and needs to be replaced ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year agreement for five <br /> (5) years, for hosted VOIP service for the Department of Parks and Recreation; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year agreement <br /> for hosted VOIP phone service for the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br /> anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this agreement will be for a period of five (5) <br /> years, at a cost not to exceed approximately $500 per month. <br />
