'.` . <br /> �rE•Of•µ4'i_• <br /> BILL NO. 224 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 14 64 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 6, SECTION 24-288.1, <br /> SCHEDULE 36.1 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), <br /> RELATING TO ACTIVE LOADING AND UNLOADING ZONES. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. This amendment is being proposed based on a request by the Hawai`i <br /> Police Department to create a short-term loading and unloading area fronting Honoka`a Elementary <br /> School. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6. Loading Zones, Section 24-288.1, <br /> Schedule 36.1. Active loading and unloading zones, Paragraph (a) Hamakua be amended by adding <br /> new item: <br /> () PAKALANA STREET,WEST SIDE, FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY-NINE <br /> FEET SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 240 AND EXTENDING EIGHTY-NINE <br /> FEET IN THE SOUTHERLY DIRECTION, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF <br /> 12:00 P.M. AND 3:00 P.M. ON SCHOOL DAYS ONLY. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets,bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, <br /> and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
