COUNTY OF HAWAII H4• ' f;'. /H•' STATE OF HAWAII <br /> •\�r�os•Npd <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 469 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND <br /> FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO NA'ALEHU THEATER FOR <br /> THE 2014 HILO SLACK KEY FESTIVAL. <br /> WHEREAS,Na`alehu Theater is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to the <br /> preservation and furtherance of Hawai`i's culture and history: and <br /> WHEREAS,NW alehu Theater will assist Ben Kaili, organizer of the 2014 Hilo Slack Key <br /> Festival, with funding and other necessary support measures for the Festival; and <br /> WHEREAS, this funding will be used for costs associated with promotion and publicity of the <br /> Festival; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2) of the Hawai`i County Code, Contingency Relief <br /> funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via resolution identifying the <br /> nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, or event for which the grant shall be used; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the <br /> Department of Research and Development to provide a grant to Na`alehu Theater for the 2014 Hilo <br /> Slack Key Festival; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,000 <br />
