One of the reasons for . scare about GHB is the claim thin it can put you
into a coma, and it has been reported that reckless use of this substance at
nightclubs, bars, and parties has caused some users to suddenly fall into a
very deep sleep for about an hour. Such recklessness might cause the user
to end up in a hospital emargeucy room, only to awakau after an hour,
feeling completely refreshed, and wonder what the fuss is all about. Such
reckless use of this substance is a result of it being banned from over-the-
counter sales with proper labelling. if CiHB were made readily available,
with proper labelling and education, there would be almost no hazards from
its use. The banning of the substance has given rise to improper use, which
then results in such problems as described. ff GHB is made illegal_ it will
still be readily available on the black market. because it is cheap and easy to
make. although Qrooer labelling.and education will be absent. I want to
remind every one here that never in the history of mankind has prohibition
of any substance ever worked.
GHB is non-addicting. Thcrc is no craving for the substance, at any
time, unlike other truly addictive drum. including caljeine, nicotine, and
alcohol (three addictive, health-depletinP substances that are not only

legal but are an intrinsic hart oj~nodern civilization). GHB, on the other
hand, helps you to overcome bad habits. The morning after using GHB, I
feel refreshed, energized, and ready to go. GHB does not cause a hangover,
or seem to cause any wear on the body. It is completely non-addictive, and
there is absolutely no craving to do it again. It is a remarkable health tonic,
and one reason it helps overcome the other bad drug addictions is because
it makes you feel so healthy. that you don't want the other bad substances.
In fact, another use of GHB is in the treatment of alcoholism. I noticed
that when I fund GHB. I last my interest. in using alcohol. marijuana, or
coffee. As I said, my health has improved, my mind is clear, and after using
GHB, I wake up feeling unusually refreshed, with unusual energy and vigor.
Other friends suggest that the alcohol industry is behind the anti-GHB
hysteria, because it is an inexpensive substitute for alcohol, which does nvt
result in bad breath, hangover, or addiction.
(continued to end on nest page)
