The supporting organization is the <br /> Congress of Visayan Organizations — Kona Visayan Club and Hilo Visayan Club <br /> (COVO). <br /> November, 2013 —Typhoon Haiyan hit Ormoc City, leaving a trail of destruction. The <br /> roofs of almost all of the buildings were blown away leaving many homeless. The <br /> County of Hawai'i joined the Kona and Hilo Visayan Clubs in relief efforts. Over <br /> $40,000 was raised and will be used to sponsor a housing project in Ormoc City. <br /> GOKSEONG COUNTY, SOUTH KOREA <br /> Resolution No. 138-11, dated September 21, 2011.
